As an attorney, he has international experience litigating, licensing, and patenting various pieces of high technology in the materials science and biomedical engineering worlds while working for one of the largest intellectual property law firms in the world.

Laith earned his Juris Doctorate from the George Mason School of Law and Bachelors and Masters degrees in Bioengineering from the University of Maryland.
