John Kershaw is an experienced commercial manager with a robust background in the construction and infrastructure sector. Currently serving as Area Commercial Manager at Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure since March 2023, John previously held various roles at Galliford Try, including Framework Commercial Manager from September 2015 to February 2023, overseeing commercial activities for a £150m project portfolio in the Ministry of Justice strategic alliance framework in the North East and Yorkshire. As Project Director, John managed the Quality Homes for Older People Private Finance Initiative for North Tyneside Council, delivering 924 accommodation units through refurbishment and new construction. John's earlier experience includes serving as Commercial Manager at Morgan Sindall (2007-2012), where John led commercial performance for the Durham business unit, and at AMEC, where John began as a site-based Quantity Surveyor in 1990 and advanced to Commercial Manager. Notable projects include the DSS Newcastle Office development and the Malmaison Hotel in Liverpool.
