Lenge Hong is an experienced cataloger and metadata specialist with a robust background in libraries and archives. Currently serving as a Special Collections Cataloger at The Morgan Library & Museum since April 2022, Lenge has previously held roles at the New York Botanical Garden and the New-York Historical Society, where responsibilities included creating metadata and cataloging archival collections. Lenge's expertise extends to original cataloging, managing digital assets, and improving existing metadata practices according to established standards. Additionally, Lenge has significant experience in film and video archiving, having worked as a Director at Fast Images and a Film/Video Archivist at F.I.L.M. Archives. Lenge holds an MLS from Pratt Institute, an MFA from The New School, and a BFA from New York University.
