James Stokes is a Partner at Bingham McCutchen, where James has served since October 1976, focusing on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate finance for clients across various industries. Stokes represents both private and public companies, as well as equity and debt financing sources. Prior to this, Stokes served as a Captain and Naval Aviator in the United States Marine Corps from June 1966 to July 1972. Stokes earned a J.D. from Boston College Law School in 1975 and an A.B. in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross in 1966.
