Mark Powell is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business intelligence and data management. Currently serving as the Group Head of Business Intelligence at Moovimenta AG since October 2017, Mark has successfully built a new BI team and implemented an internally managed data warehouse using Microsoft Azure and Power BI Premium, consolidating data from over 20 ERP systems and other sources for strategic reporting. Prior to this role, Mark spent nearly two decades at Associated British Ports, where positions included Business Transformation Reporting & BI Work-stream Lead and Business Intelligence Manager, overseeing significant BI initiatives and the development of performance management information systems. Mark's career began in IT support and software development, complemented by a BSc in Computer Science and Information Engineering from the University of Hull and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computing for Commerce and Industry from The Open University.
