Andreas Scheriau, CFA, is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in investment analysis and equity research. Currently serving as a European Financials Analyst at Moore Capital Management since July 2023, Andreas previously held the position of Executive Director for Equity Research on European Banks at Goldman Sachs from May 2020 to June 2023, focusing on the Benelux, UK, Nordic, and Irish banking sectors. Andreas's career also includes significant roles at BlackRock as an Associate in RQA Active Equity, where collaboration with portfolio managers was key to enhancing fund performance, and early experiences in hedge fund analysis and investment banking at prestigious firms such as Cevian Capital, Apollo Global Management, and Royal Bank of Scotland. Andreas holds a Master of Arts in Banking & Finance from the University of St. Gallen and a Bachelor of Science in International Management from Warwick Business School.
