Elliott Simpson

Program Manager at Moonshot

Elliott Simpson has a diverse work experience in various industries and roles. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Business Analyst at Deloitte Canada for three months. In 2016, they became a Consultant at Deloitte Canada, where they delivered value on multiple engagements for Ministries and Agencies across the Ontario Public Sector. This included research, account planning, recruiting activities, and proposal writing.

In 2018, Elliott was seconded from Deloitte to United Way Greater Toronto to work on their Major Banks Fundraising Team for their 2018 Fundraising Campaign. Elliott was responsible for speaking to groups, managing the relationship between large banks and United Way Greater Toronto, and organizing fundraising events.

From 2019 to 2020, Elliott worked as a Partner Growth Manager at Ritual.co, where they oversaw and led the company's expansion into Montreal, securing partnerships with property managers and restaurant chains.

In 2020, they joined Beyond the Headlines as a Senior Producer and Global Conversations as a Feature Contributor, where they contributed to discussions on Canada's role in the world and North American Affairs.

From 2021 to 2022, Elliott worked as a Junior Research Fellow at NATO Association of Canada, conducting research in their field. In 2022, they joined Digital Public Square as a Senior Content Writer until April 2023.

Currently, they are working as a Program Manager at Moonshot since May 2023.

Elliott's work experience demonstrates their ability to successfully fulfill different roles in various organizations, showcasing their expertise in management, research, writing, and partnership development.

Elliott Simpson holds a Master's of Global Affairs from the University of Toronto - Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, which they completed from 2020 to 2022. Elliott'sarea of focus during this program was on Global Security, International Relations, and Counter-Terrorism Studies. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Business with French from The University of Edinburgh between 2012 and 2016. Additionally, Elliott participated in the ERASMUS Exchange Program at HEC Paris from 2014 to 2015, studying Social Studies, Management, and Sports Marketing.
