Sharne Wheaton has extensive experience in educational and planning roles within various councils and organizations. Currently serving as the Acting Senior Co-ordinator for Planning Policy and Advocacy at Moonee Valley City Council since November 2020, Sharne previously held positions including Team Leader Education and Planning and Acting Early Years Coordinator at Hobsons Bay City Council. Other roles include Team Leader Early Years, Preschool Field Officer, Inclusion Hub Manager, and various project officer roles in early years and maternal and child health sectors. Sharne holds a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Elementary Education and Teaching from RMIT University, earned between 1992 and 1995.
