Laura Hoffmann, CPA, MBA, serves as a Senior Accounting Manager at Moody's Corporation since October 2021, previously holding the position of Accounting Manager. Prior to joining Moody's, Laura worked at AMC Networks from May 2018 to October 2021 as a Senior Accountant, focusing on efficient monthly and quarterly closes, account reconciliations, and managing the fixed asset and revenue cycles, achieving a streamlined fixed asset process using Oracle. Laura's earlier experience includes a role as Senior Assurance Associate at RSM US LLP, overseeing financial audits in various industries, and as Accounting Supervisor at Bentley Meeker Lighting & Staging, Inc., managing general ledger functions and financial reporting. Laura holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management and an MBA in Accountancy and Finance from Baruch College.
