Sebastian Simpson started their work experience in 2012 as an IT Technician at CAMBERWELL HIGH SCHOOL. Sebastian then worked as a Web Developer at Curious IT from 2013 to 2014. Following that, Sebastian joined Metricon Homes in 2014 as a Web Producer, where they worked closely with national marketing stakeholders to optimize the company's online marketing strategy. Sebastian also played a significant role in implementing new functionality with JavaScript/jQuery and improving page speed and user experience. In 2019, Sebastian joined Moodle as a Digital Web Specialist, and they continue to work in this role.

Sebastian Simpson obtained their Bachelor of Information Communication Technology from Swinburne University of Technology, where they studied from 2010 to 2014.
