Ariel Sim is an experienced professional in public interest design and human rights, currently serving as a Collaborator at Monumental since February 2022. As the Founder & Principal of Conscious Creator Inc., established in February 2020, Ariel creatively explores various ways of knowing and being. The role as a Human Rights & Regenerative Design Fellow at New York University, ongoing until September 2024, focuses on integrating regenerative design, arts, and law, particularly regarding social processes and human-centered design. Previous experience includes serving as a Board Member and Associate at JustLabs, Design Practice Lead and Director of Design Anthropology at MaRS Discovery District, as well as managerial and consulting roles in insights and design at Doblin and Deloitte Canada. Ariel also held fellowships at iHub Nairobi and Open Society Foundations and contributed to digital foresight research at the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto. Educational credentials include a Master of Global Affairs from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary & International Studies from the University of Arizona.
