Emily Aloiz is a seasoned professional in architectural conservation and transportation planning, currently serving as the Transportation Planning Administrator for the County of Erie, PA since June 2018. With extensive experience as an Architectural Conservator since 2013, Emily has contributed to significant projects including the conservation of wallpaper at LBJ's ranch and marble repointing at the United Church in Washington, D.C. Previous research fellow roles at the Smithsonian Museum Conservation Institute involved analyzing structural integrity of materials from the U.S. Capitol and studying ancient Persian art. Emily holds a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Anthropology from Bucknell University.
