Alexander Keijzer is a skilled software engineer currently focused on autonomy and controls at Monumental since August 2023. Previous experience includes working as a control engineer at Fusion Engineering, specializing in trajectory planning for autonomous drones, and serving as a robotics software engineering intern at WAKU Robotics, where significant contributions included developing a mobile robot lab and implementing control and navigation software. Alexander's background also includes a role as a graduate research assistant at Technische Universiteit Delft, where a reinforcement learning framework was designed in Python. Additional experience includes positions at Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, where new data analysis tools were created, and leadership roles within the Formula Student Team Delft, managing technical teams and improving vehicle dynamics. Alexander holds a Master of Science in Robotics and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology, along with a minor in Aerospace Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.
