Anup Mathew has extensive experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist in various organizations. Anup has worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Invicta Health Community Interest Company since April 2020, where they are responsible for providing medical psychiatric support to a multi-disciplinary Primary Care Mental Health Service. Anup also participates in service and business planning activity for the entire East Kent Primary Care Mental Health Specialist Service. Anup Mathew is currently the UK Medical Director at Montu and a Consultant Psychiatrist at Cantourage Clinic, where they provide psychiatric services. Anup has also worked as a Lead Psychiatrist for the UK clinic of Zerenia Clinics, an international medical cannabis company. In addition to their clinical role, Anup Mathew is involved in training and teaching new prescribers in the Khiron Academy, a CPD certified medical education platform. Anup previously worked as a Health Examiner & Medical Supervisor at the General Medical Council, where they performed examinations of doctors' physical and mental health and provided recommendations on their future management. Anup Mathew has also held positions as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Lyphe, Cygnet Health Care, and Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, where they were responsible for providing psychiatric care and supervision. Additionally, they have served as a DoLS Medical Assessor at the London Borough of Bexley and provided remote psychiatric services through video conferencing at Psychiatry-UK LLP.

Anup Mathew's education history includes a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Poznan University of Medical Sciences, a Medical Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis (MDCH) from London College of Clinical Hypnosis, and a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (DCBH) from London College of Clinical Hypnosis. Anup also holds an MSc degree in War and Psychiatry from King's College London, a diploma in Clinical Psychiatry (DCP) from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, and is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych). In addition, Anup has obtained several postgraduate certificates, including one in Clinical Education (PGCCE) from King's College London, one in the Management of Drug Misuse Part 1 from the Royal College of General Practitioners, one in the Management of Alcohol Problems from the Royal College of General Practitioners, and another one in the Management of Drug Misuse Part 2 from the Royal College of General Practitioners. Anup Mathew is also a member of The Academy of Medical Educators (MAcadMEd) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Finally, Anup Mathew has completed a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Medical Ethics and Law from King's College London.
