Mihkel Jõela has a diverse work experience in the field of infrastructure engineering and management. In 2017, they worked as a System Administrator at SMIT, the IT and Development Centre at the Estonian Ministry of the Interior. In this role, they gained experience in system administration tasks.

In 2021, Mihkel joined CybExer Technologies as an Infrastructure Engineer. Mihkel worked in this position until 2022, gaining further experience in infrastructure engineering.

Currently, Mihkel is employed at Montonio, where they have held two roles. Starting in 2022, they worked as an Infrastructure Engineer, focusing on building AWS multi-account architecture and managing ECS Fargate infrastructure. Mihkel also worked on CI/CD improvement and integration using AWS CodePipeline, Github, and ECR. In addition, Mihkel was responsible for creating and managing AWS CloudFormation templates.

Later in 2023, Mihkel was promoted to the role of Engineering Manager at Montonio. Mihkel'sresponsibilities include overseeing AWS infrastructure, optimizing CI/CD processes, leading a team, and ensuring ISO compliance.

Overall, Mihkel Jõela has developed expertise in AWS infrastructure, CI/CD optimization, team leadership, and ISO compliance through their work experience at various companies.

Mihkel Jõela is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in IT Systems Administration at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology. Mihkel started their studies in 2020 and is expected to graduate in 2023. Before attending TalTech, Mihkel attended Tallinn Polytechnic School from 2016 to 2019. Although they did not obtain a degree during their time at Tallinn Polytechnic School, their field of study was focused on Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services.

In addition to their education, Mihkel Jõela has obtained a certification as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2021.
