Gene Kuntz has over 30 years of work experience in various leadership roles. Gene most recently served as the General Manager and COO at Montana Instruments, where they led the restructuring of the business over 18 months. Prior to that, they worked as the General Manager at MKS Instruments, responsible for the P&L and growth of six product lines. Gene also held the position of Assistant General Manager at Bozeman Instruments within the same company. Earlier in their career, Kuntz worked as the Director of the Laser Diode Test Systems Business Unit at Newport Corporation and as the Vice President of Operations at ILX Lightwave. Gene began their career at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) as an Engineering Manager, leading a team of engineers, programmers, and technicians.
Gene Kuntz obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Montana State University-Bozeman. Gene attended the university from 1982 to 1987. Later, from 1992 to 1995, Gene pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Operations Management and Supervision at Utah State University.
