Richard Shore

Co-Founder and Strategic Advisor at MONSTERBASS

Richard Shore has extensive experience in various roles within the business and entertainment industries. Richard started their career at Sony Pictures Entertainment as a Director of Business Affairs, where they negotiated acquisition agreements and streamlined the contract execution process. Richard then worked at First Look Studios as the General Counsel and Head of Business Affairs, overseeing all aspects of independent film production and distribution.

Afterwards, Richard co-founded RedLever Studios, where they formed strategic relationships with content creators and managed the in-house studio capabilities. Richard later co-founded and served as the CEO of the direct-to-consumer start-up e-commerce company, Common Artist Project.

Richard continued their entrepreneurial journey as the Co-founder and CEO of Sure Hit Media and Duo Labs, LLC, where they launched successful direct-to-consumer skincare products and secured a seed round of funding. Richard also co-founded Subrosa Digital, a strategic consulting firm specializing in e-commerce growth strategies.

In 2019, Richard became the Co-founder and Strategic Advisor of Monsterbass, where they oversaw customer acquisition, retention, and monetization strategies. In 2020, they founded Shoreline Marketing Co., a consulting firm focused on e-commerce strategies for growth.

Most recently, Richard has been the Founding Partner of ALTYR, a company involved in an undisclosed field. In 2023, they will become the Managing Partner of MINIMALE ANIMALE. Throughout their career, Richard has demonstrated expertise in various areas, including corporate formation, fundraising, revenue growth strategy, and overall business development.

Richard Shore attended McGill University from 1993 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Richard then went on to study at the California Western School of Law, ABA/AALS from 1996 to 1999 and obtained a Juris Doctor degree in Law.
