Matt Torell has over two decades of experience in environmental engineering and project management. Currently serving as the Environmental Special Projects Lead at Monroe Energy, LLC since October 2012, responsibilities include the implementation of Environmental Operating Limits and strategic permitting initiatives. Prior to this role, Matt Torell held various positions at Western Refining from June 2007 to September 2012, including Environmental Lead and PSM Enhancement Lead. Earlier experience includes work as a Process Controls Engineer and PSM Engineer at ConocoPhillips from January 2001 to May 2007, along with a foundation in research as a Research Assistant at New Mexico State University from 1997 to 2001. Matt Torell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from New Mexico State University in 2001.
