Ashley Kane is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the School Principal at Monroe County Community School Corporation since June 2023. Previously, Ashley held the position of School Principal at Deer Valley Unified School District and the Academies of Math and Science, along with various roles including Assistant Principal, Upper Academy Director, and Instructional Coach at Indianapolis Public Schools. With a solid foundation in curriculum development and instructional strategies, Ashley has focused on enhancing student achievement through collaborative efforts with educators and leading professional development initiatives. Academically, Ashley is pursuing a Doctor of Education degree at Vanderbilt University, having earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Columbia University, a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Indiana.
