Yang Jiao is a seasoned research scientist with extensive experience in formulation development and process improvement across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Senior Research Scientist at MonoSol, a Kuraray Division, since December 2021, Yang Jiao focuses on advancing water-soluble film technologies. Prior roles include Research Scientist at Novation iQ, where formulation and process improvements for polyolefin low-density foams were pursued, and as an R&D Chemist at Nitto Inc., where efforts centered on adhesive rubber foam development for automotive applications. Yang Jiao's expertise also includes research at the Air Force Research Laboratory, involving toughness characterization of polymer thin films and studying polymer-grafted nanoparticles. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and a Master's in Materials Science, both from Stevens Institute of Technology, along with a Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science and Engineering from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
