Vipin Pala has a diverse work experience in the semiconductor industry. Vipin started their career as an intern at Xilinx in 2005 and later worked as an intern at TriQuint Semiconductor in 2010. Vipin pursued a Ph.D. at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 2007 to 2012. After completing their Ph.D., they joined Wolfspeed as a Research Scientist, specializing in Silicon Carbide MOSFET technology and filing 16 patents. In 2016, they moved to Maxim Integrated as a Senior Staff Engineer, where they focused on Power IC technology and filed 7 patents. Vipin then worked at Alpha & Omega Semiconductor as a Device Design Manager from 2017 to 2019. In 2019, they co-founded LogiSiC Devices, a Silicon Carbide Semiconductor hardware startup, and served as its CEO until it was acquired by Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. in 2021. Currently, they are working as the Director of SiC Technology at Monolithic Power Systems, Inc.
Vipin Pala completed their undergraduate and postgraduate studies from 2002 to 2007 at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Vipin earned a B.Tech and M.Tech degree in Microelectronics and VLSI Design. Later, from 2007 to 2011, they pursued their PhD in Electrical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Additionally, there is no available information regarding their educational background before 2002.
