Alex Handa is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive experience in the travel industry and a background in architecture. Handa co-founded Moniker in March 2013 and established Groupdesk in March 2018, continuing until February 2020. Prior to this, Handa was the Founder and CEO of ilovetravel.com from January 2014 to August 2017 and served as President of Handa Travel Group from September 2010 to December 2013. Handa also held an Ontario Council Member position at the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA) from May 2012 to April 2014 and was the Founder and President of S-Trip! from November 2004 to August 2010. Early in the career, Handa gained valuable experience during an apprenticeship at S. GHOSH ARCHITECTS PRIVATE LIMITED from October 1999 to April 2000. In addition to this professional background, Handa earned a degree in architecture from USI Università della Svizzera italiana between 1998 and 2004. Currently, Handa is dedicated to the role of Dad, beginning this journey in September 2017.
