Sami-Pekka Mähönen has worked for three companies over the past two decades. Sami-Pekka began their career at Capricode in 2000 as a Software Engineer, working as a subcontractor for Nokia Oyj. In 2005, they moved to Microsoft as a Senior Engineer. Most recently, they have been employed at Monidor Oy since 2016 as a SW Senior Engineer.

Sami-Pekka Mähönen completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Information Technology from Kajaani Polytechnic between 1997 and 2001. Prior to that, they completed their Finnish Matriculation Examination from Paltamo Upper Secondary School between 1991 and 1994.
