Tim Sedgwick has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Tim is currently the VP of Engineering for Atlas App Services at MongoDB, a position they have held since August 2022. Prior to this, Tim was the Director of Engineering and Lead Software Engineer at MongoDB from October 2020 to September 2022 and May 2019 to October 2020, respectively. Before joining MongoDB, Tim worked at Olive as a Software Engineer Manager from October 2018 to May 2019 and as a Software Engineer from July 2018 to October 2018. Tim also gained experience at L Brands as a Senior Software Developer from July 2017 to July 2018 and as an Ecommerce Developer from June 2015 to July 2017. Tim started their professional career at JPMorgan Chase as a Java Application Developer from May 2013 to June 2015. Tim's early experience includes working as Otterbein IT Support for Students at Otterbein University from October 2009 to May 2013 and as a Networking Intern at Data Recovery Systems, LLC from December 2011 to May 2012.

Tim Sedgwick attended Otterbein University from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
