Senior Technical Account Manager at MongoDB

Aaron Redalen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Aaron is currently working as a Technical Account Manager at MongoDB since December 2022. Prior to that, from January 2020 to December 2022, they served as a Senior Escalation Engineer at the same company.

Before joining MongoDB, Aaron held a role as the CTO & Co-Founder at RevUp Software, a SaaS start-up focused on designing tools for non-profits, academic institutions, and political organizations. Their responsibilities included overseeing product architecture, software development, data integration, and operations. Aaron played a key role in scaling the company's applications from a pre-investment proof-of-concept prototype to a Series A SaaS venture. Aaron worked at RevUp Software from February 2014 to November 2019.

In their earlier roles, Aaron worked as the Director of Integrations at BloomReach from July 2012 to January 2014. Aaron led a global team of project managers and engineers, ensuring successful integration and deployment of the SaaS marketing application suite. Aaron also worked as the Director of Professional Services at MarkLogic from January 2007 to July 2012, leading professional services teams and driving revenue growth through the design and implementation of highly scalable mission-critical applications.

Aaron has also had experience working at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) as a Software Developer/Systems Administrator from January 2001 to January 2007, at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) as a Consultant from September 2000 to December 2000, at the National Library of Medicine as an Associate Fellow from July 1999 to August 2000, at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) as a Library Associate from September 1997 to June 1999, and at the Carolina University Bookstore as a General Manager from June 1996 to August 1997.

Throughout their career, Aaron has demonstrated leadership, technical expertise, and a strong focus on integration, development, and operations in various industries such as software services, marketing, defense, intelligence, and non-profit fundraising.

Aaron Redalen received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Hobart and William Smith Colleges in 1996. Prior to that, they attended Saint Mary's University of Minnesota from 1991 to 1992, where they studied Psychology. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Library Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating in 1999. Later, Aaron enrolled at The Johns Hopkins University from 2001 to 2006, completing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science.
