Martin CJ Mongiello, MBA, MA, MCFE

Martin CJ Mongiello has an extensive and diverse work experience. Martin CJ currently holds the position of Chair of the Board of Trustees at The US Presidential Service Center® and US Presidential Culinary Museum® at The Inn of the Patriots™. Martin CJ is responsible for bringing servant leadership and coaching to the organization, as well as evolving the institution and its community as the CEO.

Prior to this, Martin served as the Museum Director and Hotel General Manager at The US Presidential Culinary Museum® and The Inn of the Patriots™. Martin CJ was also the Chief Marketing Officer, overseeing exhibit design and working with various outlets and stakeholders. Additionally, they served as the Opening General Manager and CFO, playing a key role in the establishment and promotion of the premier attraction and boutique Inn.

Martin's work experience also includes roles at ICFAI University, where they serve as a Professor of Practice in the Faculty of Management, and at the Riyo Raac Foundation, where they act as a Special Advisor to the President.

Furthermore, Martin has been involved with The Hail to the Chef Restaurant Museum as a Museum Consulting CEO, with the Rotary Club of Global Impact as the Immediate Past President, and with the American Revolutionary War Living History Center (ARWLHC) as the President Monroe Chair (Emeritus), Group Chief Executive Officer, and Executive Director.

Martin CJ has also been a Professional Speaker associated with Leading Authorities, Inc. and has served as a Guest Speaker and President of the Rotary Club of Global Impact at Rotary International. In addition, Martin has been a TV Show Host on CBS and a Keynote Speaker for the "Inside the Presidents' Cabinet" history television series on eSpeakers.

Throughout their career, Martin has demonstrated exceptional leadership and has been recognized for their contributions in the field. Martin CJ brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the organizations they have worked with.

Martin CJ Mongiello has an extensive education history in various fields of study. In 1993, they obtained a Certificate of six weeks class in Restaurant/Food Services Management from the US Navy Restaurant Management School. In 1994, they received a Certificate in Total Quality Management from the Franklin Covey Institute - The Ultimate Competitive Advantage. The same year, they also obtained Certificates in Cooking & Baking from L'Academie de Cuisine and in Bartending, Spirits, and Wine from the Maryland Bartending Academy.

In 1995, Mongiello received a Certificate in Specialized Cookery Program for winning the IFSEA Best Restaurant (worldwide champion) from The Culinary Institute of America. Martin CJ furthered their culinary education by obtaining a BS in Culinary Management, Summa Cum Laude from The Art Institutes in 2010.

Mongiello expanded their knowledge beyond culinary arts by pursuing other areas of interest. In 2013, they obtained a Certificate in Science & Cooking/Haute Cuisine/Soft Matter Science course from Harvard University. Martin CJ continued their studies in 2014 and received a Certificate in History of Art and the School of Design from The University of Edinburgh.

In the realm of business administration, Mongiello earned an MBA in Restaurant Management from Almeda University in 2002. Martin CJ also completed a Certificate in Wine and Champagne from L' Ecole du Vin in 2000. Additionally, they pursued a Certificate in Total Quality Leadership (TQL) and Total Quality Management (TQM) from the Franklin Covey Institute - The Ultimate Competitive Advantage in 1994.

Mongiello's education is not limited to culinary and business fields. Martin CJ obtained a CHM Certification 60 days in residence course - CO Board of Higher Ed from the Starkey International Institute in 2002, focusing on Hospitality Leadership. Martin CJ also participated in assorted courses in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration through the Navy College Program at Troy University from 1989 to 1990.

In recent years, Mongiello has continued to pursue education and certifications. Martin CJ obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Leadership, Marketing from Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2019. Martin CJ also completed a Certificate of Graduation in Real estate development, law, and sales from Canopy Real Estate Institute in 2021. Currently, Mongiello is pursuing a DBA Doctoral learner - in study in Organizational Leadership at Northcentral University.

Moreover, Mongiello has acquired several additional certifications, including Certified DEI Facilitator for CiS Merit Badge from the Boy Scouts of America, DEI Facilitator and Coach from Rotary International, GDPR for Marketers from LinkedIn, Public Relations Foundations from LinkedIn, and Top 10 Social Media Management Tools from LinkedIn, all obtained in 2022 and earlier.

In the culinary industry, Mongiello achieved the prestigious title of Master Certified Food Executive (MCFE) from the International Food Service Executives Association (IFSEA) in 2007. Martin CJ also holds certifications such as Certified Professional Food Manager (CPFM) from Experior in 1997 and Certified Executive Chef (CEC) from the American Culinary Federation in 1998.

Additionally, during their service in the US Navy, Mongiello acquired Submarine Warfare Qualified and Surface Warfare Qualified pins, demonstrating their expertise and qualifications in these areas.
