Joshua McCarthy has over 12 years of work experience in software engineering and multimedia design. In 2009, they began their career as a Contract Multimedia Artist at IONA Group, followed by a Freelance Multimedia position at Central States Media. Later that year, they worked as a Production Supervisor, 3D Modeler & 3D Animator at Bradley University. In 2010, McCarthy began working at Four Man Furnace as an Interactive Designer. Joshua then moved to Rocket Red in 2012 as a Front-End Web Developer. In 2013, McCarthy returned to Four Man Furnace as a Senior Developer. In 2017, they began working at ISAO Corporation as a Web Software Engineer. In 2018, McCarthy joined QUOINE as the Head of Products, where they established and maintained the product management department for the Liquid cryptocurrency exchange for global users. In 2020, they began working at Asurion as a Web Software Engineer. Most recently, in 2022, McCarthy joined Moneytree as a Senior Software Engineer.

Joshua McCarthy attended Bradley University from 2002 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia.
