Billy Wai is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in web development and team leadership, currently serving as the Lead Engineer at MoneyLion since December 2018. Throughout this tenure, Billy has led the web core team to enhance the performance and design of the MoneyLion web app, fostering collaboration within cross-functional teams to create a scalable and user-friendly platform. Prior roles at MoneyLion include serving as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead, where Billy managed the web ecosystem and built a scalable internal dashboard, and as a Software Engineer, focusing on front-end and back-end development in an agile environment. Previously, Billy worked at Chat Infinite Sdn Bhd as a Software Engineer, where focused on developing chatbots for client needs. Billy holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Monash University and completed the Monash University Foundation Year at Sunway University.
