Jan Vavrys has a diverse work experience spanning over different roles and industries. Jan started their career as a Project Leader at Nebraska Center for Entrepreneurship in 2005. Jan then worked as an Intern at Google in 2008, followed by an internship at Deloitte Czech Republic in 2009. In the same year, they joined Ernst & Young as a TAS Assistant at Valuation & Business Modelling.
In 2010, Jan joined Visteon, where they served as a Plant Finance Supervisor and later as a QAD Launch Finance Lead, responsible for launching ERP software in the finance area. In 2013, they briefly worked as a Finance Controlling Manager at Halla Visteon Climate Control.
Since 2013, Jan has been employed at MONET+ where they have held various roles, including CFO and CHRO. As the CEO of MONET+, they are currently leading 10 teams of 60 colleagues, overseeing financial and operational management, information technology, information security, software development, HR, R&D, Marketing & PR.
Jan Vavrys completed their Master's degree in International Economics from Prague University of Economics and Business from 2003 to 2009. In 2008, they briefly attended Esade for a CEMS MIM program in International Management. Additionally, they were a Robitschek Scholar at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 2005 to 2006, although the field of study for this program was not specified.
