Thabo Dabengwa currently serves as the Content Acquisition Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa at Mondia Group since February 2021, having also worked as a Content Acquisition Freelancer. Previously, Thabo was the Managing Director of ThutoTV-Gelez, a free VOD educational platform for students, from May 2020 to July 2021. Thabo held the position of Managing Director at Kagiso Media from January 2015 to August 2018 and worked as a Sales Executive at Dynamic Testing Solutions - South Africa in 2014. Other roles include Head of Department for the Vodacom Account at Xuma Infrastructure Group Pty LTD (2011-2013) and CEO of motv (2012-2013). Thabo’s career began as a Senior Researcher at Frieze Films (2010-2011) and included a sales role at Dynamic Testing Solutions - South Africa. Thabo holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music/Live Performance from AFDA and further education in the Ministry of Music from Rhema as well as training from New York Film Academy.
