RÅ«ta PetraitytÄ—-Saylik has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and analytics. RÅ«ta started their career as a Data Mining Intern at Avia Solutions Group AB in July 2015, followed by a role as a Business Intelligence Intern from August to October 2015. RÅ«ta then joined Open Road Visions as a Data Analysis Volunteer in February 2016 and later became a Data Analyst from January to July 2017.

In November 2017, RÅ«ta joined the University of Essex as a Research Officer (Machine Learning) and subsequently took on the role of a Data Scientist (Knowledge Transfer Partnership Associate) from March 2018 to October 2019.

Since October 2019, RÅ«ta has been working at Mondaq, where they started as a Senior Data Scientist and later moved up to the position of Lead, Data Science and Analytics in January 2023.

RÅ«ta PetraitytÄ—-Saylik completed their education at the University of Essex. RÅ«ta obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with Economics in 2016, and later earned a Master's degree in Data Science in 2017. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained certifications in Apache Spark Essential Training and Spark for Machine Learning & AI from LinkedIn, as well as a Certificate of Completion in SQL Fundamentals from SoloLearn. RÅ«ta also has experience in R programming through an introduction course from DataCamp.
