Jefferson Ighalo has had a varied and impressive career in software engineering. In 2018, they began their career at Andela as a Software Engineer. In 2019, they took on two roles, as a Lead Software Engineer at SystemSpecs and a Consultant Front End Developer at LandLagos.com. In 2021, they joined Wyre as a Senior Developer Relations Engineer and Polygon Technology as a Head Documentation Engineer/Software Engineer. Jefferson is currently working at Monax Labs as Director of Developer Relations, where they have kickstarted the Developer Relations Department and created a strategy for the company.

Jefferson Ighalo's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Benin, obtained between 2011 and 2015. Jefferson also earned a Full stack Web Development Certification from Free Code Camp in 2017. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including an OWASP Top Ten Online Course from Udemy in November 2019, a Mobile Web Specialist from Google/Udacity/Andela in August 2018, and an Inbound Certification from HubSpot in October 2015.
