Jay Caruso is a cardiac physiologist currently employed at MonashHeart since January 2023. Prior to this role, Jay served as Team Lead and Public Health Officer at Monash Health from January 2021 to January 2023 and held a position as a Public Health Officer at COVID-19 Quarantine Victoria in late 2020. Experience also includes working as a Contact Tracing Officer at the Department of Health & Human Services, Victoria, from July to December 2020, and founding a high school tuition company, Component Education, from 2017 to 2019. Earlier roles include student observer positions at Murdoch Children's Research Institute and Austin Health in 2014. Jay Caruso holds a Bachelor of Paramedicine from Australian Catholic University and is pursuing a Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne.
