Joan Blades is a co-founder of LivingRoomConversations.org, MomsRising.org, and MoveOn.org, with extensive experience in facilitating meaningful conversations across diverse perspectives through structured formats. Since 2010, Joan has led Living Room Conversations, promoting dialogue among individuals with differing viewpoints. Joan also co-founded MomsRising.org in 2006, advocating for mothers' rights and issues. Previously, Joan co-founded and served as VP of Marketing at Berkeley Systems from 1986 to 1996. Joan holds a Juris Doctor degree in Law and Mediation from Golden Gate University, School of Law, earned between 1978 and 1980.
