Mike Burks is an accomplished data professional with extensive experience in data engineering and database architecture. Currently serving as a Data Platform Engineer at QuikTrip, Mike has developed solutions for ETL processes and centralized database permission management. As the Director of Data Solutions at Momentum3, Mike designed reference architectures and implemented dimensional schemas for data warehouse and analytics solutions. Previous roles include BI Architect at ONE Gas, where Mike created a substantial data warehouse, and Database Architect at PennWell, focusing on reengineering business intelligence solutions. With a career spanning over two decades, Mike has also held key positions in database architecture and administration at Rovi, Macrovision, TV GUIDE, and as a self-employed consultant.
