Rory van 't Schip MSc RA has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. From 2007 to 2010, Rory worked as an Assistent-Accountant Audit at De Keijzer Nipius & Co. Subsequently, from 2010 to 2016, Rory joined Mazars Nederland, initially as a Senior Assistant, then as a Junior Manager, and finally as an Audit Manager. During this time, Rory focused on audits and other assurance assignments for national and international large owner-managed businesses, primarily in the employment services sector.
In 2016, Rory transitioned to Meijers Assurantiën, assuming the role of Manager Finance & Control until 2018. Following that, Rory established their own business, RSC Finance, where they served as Owner from 2016 to 2022.
In 2015, while still working at Mazars Nederland, Rory was a Corrector Financial Auditing at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam / VU.
In 2018, Rory joined Momentum Capital as a Financial Controller, responsible for advising the board on financial and fiscal matters, managing the financial administration of Momentum Capital companies, and drafting strategic, financial, and fiscal reports. In 2019, Rory advanced to the position of Head of Finance & Control, continuing their advisory role and financial management responsibilities.
Most recently, since 2021, Rory has been serving as a member of the Board of Commissioners at Momentum Leisure. In this role, Rory contributes to locating, building, and launching theme parks in Central and Eastern Europe, with a focus on developing and exploiting leisure concepts in Europe through joint ventures and partnerships.
Throughout Rory's career, they have consistently demonstrated expertise in finance, control, auditing, and advisory roles within various industries.
Rory van 't Schip MSc RA has a diverse education history. From 2010 to 2012, they attended the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) and obtained a Postdoctoraal degree in Register accountant. Prior to this, from 2007 to 2012, they also studied at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), although no specific degree name is mentioned for this period. From 2004 to 2007, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy at Inholland University of Applied Sciences.
