Mark Westmeyer is an accomplished expert in process technology with a robust background in scientific research and product development. Currently serving as an Expert Scientist at Momentive since July 2022, Mark previously held the position of Principal Research Scientist at Dow from April 2006 until July 2022, contributing to significant advancements in latex emulsions for construction applications and filing nine patent cases since 2012. Earlier roles include Staff Scientist at TRONOX LLC, where Mark focused on developing new grades of TiO2, and Program Leader at GE Silicones, emphasizing the scale-up of silicone molecules for diverse applications. Mark's foundational experience includes service as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps Reserve from 1989 to 1995. Mark earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1998.
