Ryan Brown is a Mechanical Engineer at Moltex Energy since November 2019, serving as the system lead for both the Shutdown System and Reactor Coolant Loop of the Stable Salt Reactor Wasteburner, while also fulfilling roles as Supply Chain Manager and Company Safety Officer. Prior experience includes work as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of New Brunswick, where responsibilities involved developing computer vision algorithms for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, and as a Quality Control Inspector at Strescon, ensuring concrete product standards and training new staff. Additionally, a Co-op Engineering Research Assistant role at WorkSafeNB focused on researching safety standards and developing educational materials for employers. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a Diploma in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship, and a Bachelor of Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering, all from the University of New Brunswick.
