Golnaz Hafizi is a dedicated research assistant at the Brain Behavior and Communication lab at Molloy University, currently contributing to a study on cognitive activity and music therapy in autistic children. Previously, Golnaz worked as a registered behavior technician at ICAN, providing one-on-one support to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder and implementing Applied Behavior Analysis therapy. Golnaz also gained experience as a summer intern at a camp for children with disabilities, supervising and engaging campers in activities. Earlier roles include being a nanny for children aged 6 to 11, focusing on academic support and daily care, and a retail salesperson at Steve Madden. Golnaz holds a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Molloy University, a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Western Washington University, and an Associate of Arts from Bellevue College.
