Mattijs Bliek is an experienced technology professional currently serving as a Staff Engineer and Engineering Manager at Mollie since June 2016, where Mattijs leads the Know Your Customer team to streamline onboarding processes through automation and scalable technology. Previously, as Mollie’s first front-end developer, Bliek contributed to the development of a React-based merchant dashboard and revamped the CSS architecture. Prior to joining Mollie, Bliek worked at GRRR from September 2009 to June 2016 as a Senior Frontend Developer and UX Designer, leading projects for notable clients such as the City of Amsterdam and Melkweg. Mattijs Bliek holds a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media Design from HKU and completed VWO at College Hageveld.
