Jacob Burley is an experienced Senior Client Platform Engineer at Mollie since July 2022, focusing on enhancing endpoint experiences and developing internal services using Google Cloud, Terraform, and Ansible. Previously, Jacob worked at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam from June 2018 to June 2022 as a macOS Client Platform Engineer, where responsibilities included software packaging for over 10,000 Macs, maintaining CI/CD systems, providing third-line support, and ensuring stability and security for Mac environments, along with experience in various endpoint management systems. Additionally, Jacob has held roles such as Tier 1 IT Support Technician, Java Tutor, and Medewerker Verkoopklaar at different organizations. Jacob holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and has completed various educational programs, including an Introduction Year in Art from the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague, along with A-Levels and GCSEs from The British School in The Netherlands.
