Rebecca Kreipke has over 17 years of work experience in various roles. Rebecca currently holds the position of Western Markets Field Applications Scientist Manager, BioPharma at Molecular Devices since February 2022. In this role, they are responsible for supporting the BioProduction instruments in the Molecular Devices BioPharma clone screening portfolio and works collaboratively with teams developing novel biotherapeutics to provide an integrated solution of instrumentation. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Field Applications Scientist II, North America BioProduction at Molecular Devices from May 2017 to February 2022. In this role, they were responsible for pre-sales and post-sales activities, including product demos, seminars, training, and application support.
Before joining Molecular Devices, Rebecca worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Washington from October 2015 to May 2017. Rebecca also served as a PHD Graduate Student at Brandeis University from September 2008 to June 2015. During their time at Brandeis University, they also took on additional roles such as Founder of the "Art of Science..." Seminar Series, Women in Science Initiative from September 2012 to January 2014, and Programming Director at the Women in Science Initiative from June 2011 to December 2013.
Rebecca started their career as a Campus Visit Intern and Campus/Science Center Tour Guide at Oberlin College from September 2005 to May 2008. Rebecca also worked as a Social Action Specialist and Counselor at Goldman Union Camp Institute in May 2005.
Rebecca Kreipke completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Neuroscience from Oberlin College, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a higher degree and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neuroscience from Brandeis University, where they studied from 2008 to 2015.
