Laura Dranschak

Director, Global Commercial Operations, Enablement And Automation at Molecular Devices

Laura Dranschak started their professional career in 2003 as an intern at Massachusetts General Hospital. From 2005 to 2008, they worked as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Ryder Lab, Developmental Neurobiology. In 2008, they joined CellThera as a Research Assistant. Following that, they worked as a Research Assistant at Abbott Bioresearch Center from 2008 to 2009. From 2009 to 2011, they served as a Technical Sales Specialist at MACHEREY-NAGEL.

In 2011, Laura Dranschak joined Molecular Devices and held various roles over the years. Laura began as a Sales Representative from 2011 to 2016, achieving significant growth and receiving accolades. Laura then became the Central Regional Sales Manager from 2016 to 2019, responsible for leading the sales team in the Midwest and Canada region. During this time, they also took on additional roles as Interim North American Sales Manager and Distribution Manager. From 2019 to 2021, they served as the Senior Sales Leader, leading a team of direct reports and driving growth in the BioDiscovery Business Unit. In 2021, they became the Director of Global Commercial Operations, Enablement, and Automation, where they lead the Automation and Workflow Solutions Department, as well as the newly created Business Intelligence Team at Molecular Devices.

Throughout their career, Laura Dranschak has shown expertise in sales, technical support, and leadership, specializing in bioanalytical products and systems for life science research and drug discovery.

Laura Dranschak obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Stonehill College, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Laura then pursued a Master's degree in Biology and Biotechnology at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, completing their studies in 2008.
