Jin Yan's work experience includes a position as a Technical Support Application Scientist at Molecular Devices starting in September 2015. Prior to that, Jin worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Washington from January 2012 to August 2015. Jin also worked as a Research Associate at the University of Arizona between August 2007 and December 2011.

Jin Yan completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacology from Fudan University between 2001 and 2005. Subsequently, from 2007 to 2011, Jin Yan pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medical Pharmacology at the University of Arizona.
