Julio Cesar Rocha Vera has over 12 years of work experience in software development and systems analysis. Julio Cesar started their career in 2008 as a Software Developer at Soluciones Estratégicas SRL, where they designed and developed systems based on PowerBuilder.

In 2010, Julio joined The Nature Conservancy as an Analyst Programmer, where they were responsible for designing and developing a Geographic Information System for Biomass Carbon Monitoring.

From 2011 to 2012, Julio worked as an Independent Freelance Consultant, serving as a Project Manager for web application development projects utilizing technologies such as Apache, Java, PHP, and various databases.

Julio also has experience working in the environmental sector, as they served as the Databases and Conferences Manager for the Red Latinoamericana de Derecho Forestal y Ambiental from 2010 to 2012.

In 2012, Julio joined Banco Central de Bolivia as a Developer and QA professional, where they were responsible for test design, failure reporting, and deployment of production systems.

From 2014 to 2016, Julio worked as a Profesional en Sistemas Informáticos at Administradora Boliviana de Carreteras, where they focused on the design and development of enterprise applications.

Julio then joined CodeRoad in 2016 as a Java Software Engineer, designing and implementing mobile banking applications using technologies such as Phonegap and Java EE.

At CodeRoad, Julio continued to progress and eventually held the position of Senior Developer, focusing on the design and implementation of high-performance and scalable applications.

Since 2020, Julio has been working as a Senior Software Developer at Mojix, where they are involved in the design and implementation of high-performance SaaS applications using technologies like Jakarta EE8 and Quarkus.

Julio Cesar Rocha Vera completed their Bachelor's degree in Informatics, with a focus on Systems Engineering, from the Universidad Mayor de San Andrés. Julio Cesar pursued this degree from 2004 to 2009, specializing in the development of systems. Prior to their university education, they attended Colegio Ave María from 1999 to 2003, where they obtained their high school diploma, majoring in Humanities/Humanistic Studies.
