Christopher Smith has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Christopher is currently serving as the Director of Supply Chain and Procurement at Mojave Energy Systems, Inc. Prior to that, they worked at Oshkosh Defense as a Material and Logistics Operations Manager. Christopher also held the position of Senior Materials Manager at Techtronic Industries - TTI. Christopher's previous roles include serving as a Production Superintendent and Production Supervisor at Husqvarna Group, where they managed a large team and was responsible for various aspects of production. Earlier in their career, Christopher worked as a Police Officer at City of Charleston Police Dept. and as a Warehouse Manager at National Freight Industries (NFI). Christopher also has prior experience as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps.

Christopher Smith received their Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from the College of Charleston, which they attended from 2003 to 2006. Christopher then pursued further education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from 2012 to 2014.
