Elyssa Hurwitz currently serves as the Associate Director of Jewish Education at Moishe House and also works as a Jewish Education Consultant for BBYO, focusing on Jewish enrichment and supporting regional professionals in convention planning. Elyssa has extensive experience in Jewish education, having developed curricula and taught at various institutions, including Avenues The World School and B'nai Jeshurun. In previous roles, Elyssa managed funding and supervised part-time Jewish Life Specialists, driving transformation in educational practices. Elyssa holds a Master’s degree in Jewish Experiential Education from The Jewish Theological Seminary and a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Social Sciences from Michigan State University.
