Christopher Lawrence is an accomplished urban planning professional currently serving as Vice President of Planning & Development at Mohawk Valley EDGE since July 2022. Prior to this position, Christopher held roles within the City of Utica from September 2011 to August 2022, advancing from Planner to Principal Planner. Earlier experience includes an internship in Strategic Business Development at Empire State Development, where engagement involved the Restore NY program and support for small biotech firms. Christopher's career began with customer service roles, including positions at Romano's Macaroni Grill and Peter's Cornucopia, complemented by project leadership for the Capital District Transit Authority. Christopher holds a Bachelor of Science in Urban Planning and Geography from the University at Albany and an Associate Degree in Childhood Education from Mohawk Valley Community College.
