Marcio Cesar dos Santos has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple industries and roles. Marcio began their career in 1980 as an Equipment Quality Analyst at IBRAM. From there, they worked at ENGELÉTRICA ENGENHARIA as a Technical Manager and Electrotechnical Specialist, overseeing various electrical engineering projects and managing teams. In 1989, they joined Alpargatas S.A. as a Technology Specialist. Marcio then moved on to Copersucar - Cia União dos Refinadores de Açúcar as a Maintenance Engineer before progressing to become a Port Terminal Manager and Engineering Manager, responsible for managing operations, engineering, and other departments. In 2011, they took on the role of Executive Manager of Engineering and Terminals Operation at Copersucar SA, where they played a key role in planning and implementing the company's operational port capacity recovery plan. Since 2016, Marcio has been associated with Moffatt & Nichol, initially serving as the Business Unit Leader and Country Manager in Brazil. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President and Business Unit Leader for the same company. In this role, they are responsible for leading the business in Brazil and conducting high-complexity port projects nationally and internationally.

Marcio Cesar dos Santos has a diverse education history. Marcio obtained their undergraduate degree in Industrial Technology from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie in 1988. Marcio then pursued an Engineer's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidade São Judas Tadeu from 1990 to 1995. Following this, they completed Graduation Specializations in Maintenance Engineering at FEI in 1997 and in Safety Engineering at Universidade Santa Cecília in 2001.

In terms of higher education, Marcio pursued multiple Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) programs at Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV). Marcio completed an M.B.A. in Business Administration and Management, General from FGV in 2004 and another M.B.A. specializing in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from FGV in 2006. Moreover, they obtained a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MSc Business Administration) from FGV EAESP - Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo da Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2007 to 2009.

Marcio further enhanced their business and international expertise by completing a Global Executive MBA program from various renowned institutions. Marcio attended FGV, Erasmus University, University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, and EGADE from 2012 to 2015, focusing on International Business for their degree.
