Subrata Jana is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nuclear Science and Technology at Mody University of Science and Technology since December 2019, specializing in Nuclear Reactor Engineering, Fusion Energy, and Nuclear Safety among other topics. Prior to this role, Subrata served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Institute For Plasma Research from September 2014 to December 2019, focusing on the design and simulation of plasma sources and devices, with applications in medical imaging and magnetic field design. Subrata holds a PhD in Engineering from the Institute For Plasma Research, a Master of Engineering in Nuclear Engineering from Jadavpur University, and a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from the Future Institute Of Engineering and Management.
